Ok, so Christmas was all about Jaxon! I pretty much took pictures of just him. He is the cutest thing! He actually did pretty well opening his presents. His daddy just had to get it started for him.

Prank on Shaun

So Christmas evening we were all talking about going to go see a movie. So my bro Shaun says he's going to go take a shower before we go. Candice says 'hey you guys we should pull a prank on Shaun while he's in the shower'. I thought it was a great idea! So we decided on putting some cold water in a pitcher and dumping it on him while he's showering. The clip is literally like five seconds long, but it's a hilarious five seconds!

Christmas Decor

So I just could not motivate myself to get out all of our Christmas decorations out this year. I didn't even get our tree out this year. Instead our tree was a foot and a half little tree that I got one year at relief society. So these pictures are pretty much the extent of my decorating this Christmas. Next year I absolutely need to get out ALL of the decorations!

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve my parents neighborhood lights luminaries. My parents get the fire pit out and sit out front while neighbors stop by and say hi and eat some food. My mom usually has treats or something out as well as hot cocoa. This year we had tamales, chili, sandwiches, cheese and crackers, chips and salsa, and all kinds of home made goodies. The picture below is the lid to the fire pit. The handles caught on fire, and you will see how in the video below. Let's just say we were nice and warm for a while. =)

Shawn and Logan

Shawn is so good with kids! He seems to have so much patience with them. He will be a wonderful father some day! I took this video when we were over at Scott and Andrea's house for Logan's and Nana's birthday. This video is a little dark, so it's kind of hard to see, but it is adorable! Logan got a gum ball machine for his birthday and Shawn was helping him figure out how it works. He has to start out by putting a penny in it.

We got there a little late so we missed Logan opening up his presents but we sure saw them all! Logan and Addy were playing with them the whole time. He got some really fun new toys!

These are just some cute pictures of Addison that I took. She is growing so fast. I think she will be walking soon.

FHE

I totally forgot the camera to Thanksgiving. So I didn't take pictures at either one of them, Thanksgiving with the in laws and Thanksgiving with my family. But I did remember to bring it to family home evening. Khyl and Danielle were in town, so I had to get some pictures. Well my parents started this Christmas tradition last year that we all LOVE! Since Khyl and Danielle will not be here for Christmas, we did it on Sunday after dinner and FHE. How the game is played is there is one present that we all take turns opening. The person trying to open it has oven gloves on to make it harder to get in. While the person to their left has a pair of dice and rolls until they get doubles. Once they get doubles the present gets passed to them along with the gloves and they pass the dice to the person to their left. So we all take turns opening this present until we get it open. The tricky thing is that my mom likes to use several wrapped boxes one inside the other. So the present is really in a small box. Khyl won last year so he started this year. And guess who won this year...

That's right, ME!!!! It ended up being a $20.00 bill! Sweet! =)
